Description
Chisel, carpenter's tool with wooden handle and steel blade. The butt of the tool has a metal plate, and appears to have been used with a hammer or mallet. The maker of the piece is listed on the the neck, "W. Butcher Cast Steel" with a maker's mark of an arrow, a cross, and a B with a circle around it.
