Hymnal of the Methodist Episcopal Church: printed in New York by Nelson & Phillips printed in Cincinnati by Hitchcock and Walden 1878. Inside the hymnal is written: Joseph T. Atkins - Milton Del. Presented by Rev. Joseph Robinson 1887. Josie died April 24th, 1888 aged 10yrs, 1mth, 11 days (our home is darkened mourning) On the back cover it is written: Josie: Died Tuesday night about ten o'clock April 24th, 1888. Son of Charles H. Atkins and Virginia (Tomlinson) Atkins. Features 1117 hymns, 19 doxologies and an index a total of 240 pages.
