Group of Christmas ornaments, also called "Christmas pieces" Printed paper, garland tinsel, tissue. Ornaments, or "Christmas pieces" were made by Anna Kohlenberg for her three grandchildren: Alice (Brumley), Harold, and Grace. She also sold them door-to-door at Chrsitmastime.

Provenance
Ornaments were made by Anna Kohlenberg. Kohlenberg was the daughter of German and Dutch immigrants who had a glass factory in Philadelphia. They would summer on a farm near Jefferson Crossroads and later lived on a Chestnut Street in Milton. Her daughter married a Clendaniel. From interview with granddaughter Alice Clendainel Brumley (b. 1916) and great granddaughter Leslie F. Claunch of Georgetown.
