Description
Mantel clock, painted and gilded porcelain, owned by Captain James C. Conwell and his wife Clara, at their home at 119 Federal Street in Milton. Captain Conwell was master of the schooners Thomas Winsmore and Laura C. Anderson, and a descendant of the Conwell, Clark and Clowes founding families of Milton. Clara Conwell was a Robinson.
